Surveyor to Senior Surveyor – Shopping Centres – Commercial Property Management
Location: City of London
Up to £55,000 plus Car Allowance, bonus & benefits.
My longstanding client is looking to hire a Senior Surveyor for a new role working with a portfolio of Shopping Centres. Their clients are a of mix private investment firms and public sector bodies.

THE ROLE
- Day to day property management duties of Shopping Centre assets.
- Ownership of service charge management and to ensure that KPIs are met.
- Work closely with in-house finance and facilities colleagues to deliver outstanding client service.
- Build and maintain relationships with occupiers, clients, and external consultants.
- Work alongside clients to help reach targets and achieve their vision.
- To apply knowledge and experience when responding to client and occupier requirements.
- Help to build and develop the PM offering
DAY TO DAY
- Managing the setup of new property instructions and portfolios
- Ensure accurate client reports are prepared to the correct specifications and issued to clients in accordance with agreed timescales.
- Preparing and circulating agendas and minutes for management meetings
- Reading and summarising of leases to ensure data accuracy within the property management system.
- Management of tenancy schedules
- Ensure that all demands are raised correctly and in line with lease provisions.
- Ensure tenant arrears are actively managed.
- Dealing with tenant and client queries in a timely and efficient manner
- Overview and ownership of service charge budget production
- Review service charge cash flow and budget regularly
- Service charge reconciliations, working closely with FM, finance, and external auditors.
- Supplier invoice review and approval
- Work along side FM colleagues to ensure H&S compliance in adhered to.
- Manage on site teams to ensure that buildings are always well maintained.
- Identify and progress opportunities for cross selling activities within the firm
- Identify opportunities for providing additional services to clients.
- Building strong working relationships with the existing clients
- Business development, brand building and pitch work
YOU :
- Proven property management experience
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
- Self-motivated, with high service delivery skills
- Committed and organised.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft packages.
- Experience on Property Management Systems (Voyager, etc)
