APRIL 2024
From April 2023 to April 2024 UFR funded the planting of 405 trees with our partners at Treeapp and I couldn’t be happier! Over the next 12 months and beyond I plan to build on this and share resources in other directions close to my heart.
This year and for the foreseeable future, the business will support St. Mungo’s with a regular monthly donation. The funds will assist the charity in helping those who find themselves homeless, secure safe accommodation both for them and their dogs.
Alongside this, UFR Ltd will continue to commit to plant a minimum of 120 trees each year and additionally plant a revised minimum of 10 trees for every property professional it assists in finding a new role.
I’m still working on sourcing renewable energy for the business and hope to implement this later in 2024.

I love the urban fabric that makes up our cities, and like most people, I care deeply about what we’ll leave behind for future generations. Climate change can be a contentious point and we know there isn’t a ‘one stop’ solution, but we’ve all got to do whatever we can.
I’m immensely proud to work with the country’s most forward-thinking property firms, many of which are committed to hitting net zero and achieving their own ESG initiatives. At Urban Fabric Recruitment I’m working on sourcing my energy needs predominantly from renewables, but I believe I can do more.
With that in mind, I’m excited to have partnered with Treeapp who are helping my business (and many of my favourite brands) make a positive impact towards the fight against climate change. We know trees are good for the planet (in so many different ways) and it’s awesome to have found another way to champion the environment.
Urban Fabric Recruitment will commit to plant a minimum of 120 trees each year and additionally plant a minimum of 50 trees for every property professional it assists in finding a new role.
A modest pledge for now, but I’m looking forward to seeing just how many trees we can plant over the next year and beyond. It’s inspiring to see that so many in my network are tackling this huge issue in different ways. Together I’m certain we’re making a difference.
