Surveyor – Commercial Property Management. Mixed Commercial Assets
Up to £40,000.00 plus bonus & benefits. Depending on experience.
Location: Birmingham, Hybrid
My client is seeking a Surveyor to join their Property Management team, managing a mixture of notable commercial portfolios in Birmingham and the West Midlands. As a Surveyor, you’ll play a critical role in delivering best-in-class property management across assets under management. You’ll be a trusted advisor and liaison between the client, occupiers, and internal teams, ensuring excellence at every level.
DAY TO DAY:
- Act as a point of contact for Asset Managers, building trusted client relationships
- Oversee lease compliance, manage occupier applications, and address technical matters
- Manage financial performance, including service charge budgeting and recovery in line with RICS standards
- Champion ESG initiatives and sustainability strategies within the portfolio
- Conduct routine inspections to uphold high standards of presentation and maintenance
- Support property transitions, acquisitions, and due diligence processes
- Deliver clear, insightful reporting and participate in key stakeholder meetings
- Drive tenant engagement and maintain an exceptional customer experience
- Assist in planning and delivering major works and capital improvements
- Ensure full health & safety compliance and manage insurance requirements
- Spot new business opportunities and contribute to cross-functional growth

YOU:
- A minimum of 2 years’ property management experience
- Proven background managing all asset classes
- Strategic mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Solid financial and commercial acumen
- Excellent communication and relationship management abilities
- Proficiency in property management systems and IT tools
- Leadership experience and the ability to mentor junior team members
- A commitment to diversity, equity, and ongoing professional development
