Commercial Valuation Surveyor – Loan Security
Surveyor to Associate level £45,000.00 to £70,000.00 plus Car Allowance, bonus & benefits. Depending on experience and negotiable if already at the higher level.
Location: Berkshire – Hybrid
My client is an independent property consultancy with ten offices across London and the South East of England. They offer comprehensive services in valuation, surveying, disposals, acquisitions, asset management, and lease advisory for commercial and residential property and land.
This would be an excellent opportunity for a Surveyor looking for a role outside of Central London, who enjoys working in a well resourced, innovative environment where administration is outsourced. A Surveyor joining the team would benefit from working with top tier clients and being in charge of their own schedule.
DAY TO DAY:
The Loan Security Valuation Surveyor will be responsible for preparing detailed valuations for a range of residential, commercial, and mixed-use properties, primarily for loan security purposes.
Daily tasks will include conducting site inspections, compiling valuation reports, market research, client communication, and collaborating with colleagues to deliver an efficient and high-quality service.
The successful candidate will report to the Head of Loan Security Valuations and work alongside six other colleagues as part of an established team. Will be liaising with clients, occupiers and colleagues in a demanding role that requires excellent communication, time-management, and reporting skills.
YOU:
Either MRICS or FRICS qualified and are a RICS Registered Valuer. You are an enthusiastic, responsible person with proven experience of valuing residential and commercial property and development land. You will also need to show good attention to detail, systematic approach and thoroughness in the way that you work. You will have a flexible and can-do working attitude, be pro-active, self-motivated, and able to multi-task extensively.
SKILLS:
- Min 2 years’ post qualification experience as either MRICS or FRICS
- RICS Registered valuer
- Knowledge of RICS standards, regulatory compliance, and market trends analysis
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in drafting professional valuation reports
- Excellent organisational skills: ability to manage time effectively, work under deadlines, and handle multiple assignments simultaneously
- Process orientated with high attention to detail
- Able to build excellent working relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels
- Full UK driving licence
- Excellent working knowledge of Excel
- Working knowledge of Word
- Experience of Microsoft Dynamics CRM software
- Experience of Edozo Valuation Platform
My client operates a hybrid work policy that allows employees to work from home and the office.
