Senior Surveyor – Commercial Property Management.
Up to £57,500.00 plus benefits. Depending on experience.

THE ROLE
In partnership with our client, UFR are searching for an experienced Commercial Property Manager to join a London Asset Services team situated within their City office. You will join a growing team, working on a variety of key clients’ properties, cross sector, weighted to central London offices.

DAY TO DAY:
You’ll be responsible for managing one or more regional accounts, including providing timely, consistent, and accurate flow of information required to operate the portfolio in accordance with the client’s and company objectives.
Clients:
- Understand clients’ business and asset management objectives to maximise client performance
- Understand and align with client’s vision and values
- Manage and liaise with internal teams and external consultants to provide a complete service
- Work collaboratively, to deliver service excellence
Operations:
- Ensure compliance procedures and guidelines (health & safety, environmental, quality, risk, professional code of conduct, etc.)
- Act as interface between tenant and client. Dealing with the tenant and client queries in a timely and efficient manner
- Act as a point of contact for integrating service platforms for the client, as well as ensuring that accounting practices are sound and consistently applied.
- Provide the general and financial information required for other members of the management team to make informed decisions and to carry out their operating responsibilities.
- Ensure that the property database is accurately maintained. Pro-actively manage lease event dates, including reviews, lease expiries and options and assisting with strategy implementation.
- Collate management information and reporting in advance of client meetings, recording, and carrying out any actions arising.
- Ensure accurate client reports are prepared to the correct specifications and issued in accordance with agreed timescales
- Liaise with property agents/lawyers in accordance with instructions as specified by the client mandate.
- Rent & Service Charge collection – support delivery of pre-agreed collection targets for rent, service charge and other monies as appropriate. Ensure tenant arrears are proactively managed in conjunction with the central credit control team.
- Manage utility supplies, recharges, and reconciliations in conjunction with our appointed Utility Bureau
- Service charge – support the service charge processes including, issuing the service charge budget for each property and the service charge year end reconciliation in line with RICS Service Charge Code and client mandates.
- Ensure the tenant’s apportionments and schedules are correct and in accordance with the terms of the lease.
- Review service charge variance reporting, maintaining sustainable cash balance.
YOU:
The ideal candidate will bring experience in commercial property management across both single and multi-occupied assets, with a strong track record of account management and stakeholder engagement. This is a hands-on role focused on delivering exceptional client service, driving asset performance, and identifying opportunities for improvement — with a particular emphasis on ESG, occupier experience, and service excellence. You’ll play a key role in maintaining our market-leading property management standards and ensuring consistent delivery against KPIs.
- Self-motivated & enthusiastic, focused on delivering the best possible result for our clients and customers
- Knowledge of the real estate industry & commercial awareness
- Good IT skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Commercial property management and property management systems experience (eg TBS Tramps/Yardi)
