Associate Director – Commercial Property Management.

Up to £70,000.00 plus benefits. Depending on experience.

THE ROLE

In partnership with our client, UFR are searching for an experienced Commercial Property Manager to join a leading national property consultancy as an Associate Director.

This new role is focused around a high end office asset, an historic Central London Estate, as well as one of London’s most iconic mixed use destinations. Managing a well resourced team of Property Managers and Facilities Managers is part of the day to day, and whoever joins the team will find themselves working within a community led atmosphere, with market leading clients, highly experienced staff and an excellent work life balance.

DAY TO DAY:

  • Provide support and due diligence in support of client building and site purchases aligned with legislative guidelines
  • Read, review and understand leases and documents, ensuring occupier compliance with obligations and expectations including maintenance, licences to assign, changes of use, alterations and applications from occupiers in accordance with the relevant legislative guidance and the PMA
  • In partnership with the Building Consultancy Team, support the completion of planned works, commission Long Term Asset Replacement Plans, permit to work systems, monitor PPMs to ensure buildings are managed proactively, responsibly and that the service charge budgets and property plans are fully aligned ensuring compliance with CDM Regulations and appropriate communication with client and occupiers
  • Monitoring statutory and internal compliance, instructing audits, assessments and specialist advice, aligning with service partners for control documents, log books and online management systems which form the clients control environment including meeting the clients’ policies and procedures, RICS and ISO standards and any statutory and insurance timelines and escalation requirements
  • Authorise and Review supplier payments including preparation and submission of funding requests to client
  • Manage a team aligned with the clients Values
  • Engage with occupiers including implementation of Customer Experience frameworks for the buildings to improve occupier satisfaction and retention, occupier forums and meetings and placemaking and V2 initiatives
  • Deal with the smooth onboarding and offboarding or handovers of any new or outgoing instructions

YOU:

  • Great service delivery including working in partnership with internal and external individuals
  • Innovative Solutions and Problem Solving skills
  • Strong communication at various levels including meetings with occupiers, client, supplier and wider stakeholders.
  • Strong written communication, including report writing
  • A solid background in Commercial Property Management.

My client operates a hybrid work policy that allows employees to work from home and the office as well as flexibility around core hours.
